Hi, My Wife Started Taking Allylestrenol 5mg For 3 Times

Question: Hi, My wife started taking allylestrenol 5mg for 3 times a day from her 18th day of period and continued till 28th according to our physician. According to the physician she was suppose to take letrozole from her 2nd day of coming period. Although, she didn't get a period, it's her 10th day after stopping Allylestrenol, but yet, no period. We tried home pregnancy test, as well as b-HCG blood test. All came negative. Our appointment to the Physician is on 8th this month. She never had this kind of issues in her life before. She is 32 years old with PCOD. Please advise what could cause the situation until we are able to visit the physician, or should we take this as an emergency?

I can understand your situation
You may need to wait for another 5 days for the periods,as it might take more days to get withdrawal bleeding in few pcod patients.
If no periods after 15 days of stopping the drug,you may visit the gynaecologist and she may give another pills for more days to get period.
Letrezole to be taken on second day from periods.

Since you mentioned that multiple urine pregnancy test's were negative ,it is unlikely.
However you can wait and repeat test after 5 days or can get a scan to find out the cause.
