Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for the query. I can understand your concern. According to your description, you have very dark red or purple veins at the back of your throat and you have been suffering from feeling of lump during swallowing and feeling tired.
According to the picture that is provided here, such type of very dark red or purple veins at the back of your tongue may result from the inflammation of tonsil that is known as tonsillitis caused by bacterial, viral or fungal infections or they may be normal anatomical structures as veins contain and carry used oxygenated blood.
Inflammation of tonsil may cause difficulty in swallowing. On your tongue surface, some white patches are seen. So, you may suffer from inflammation of tonsil causes oral candidiasis by yeast or bacterial infections.
You can gurgle with salt mixed XXXXXXX warm water 3-4times daily and antihistamines. Throat swab for C/S may confirm its underlying etiology.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
