Is Ecosprin Safe During Pregnancy?
Question: Hi ..I am 7 weeks pregnant and my doctor has advised me to take ecosprin 75 mg once daily.. I have earlier had two miscarriages however my only concern is will ecosprin hamper my baby's growth

As you had previous 2 miscarriages, so ecosprin has been prophylactically advised for you daily to prevent any thrombogenic event which can be the possible cause of previous first trimester miscarriages. This can be safely continued till 14 weeks if need be. Also you should be started on progesterone support with SUSTEN 300mg SR once a day to support pregnancy after the foetal heart beat arrives.
