Suggest BP Medication That Does Not Cause Dizziness
I would recommend as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that dizziness is and adverse effect explained by low blood pressure, caused by anti- hypertension drugs.
So all anti- hypertensive drugs, when used appropriately ( maintaining normal blood pressure) do not lead to dizziness.
So, I would recommended you to closely monitor your blood pressure values. If they are not low, you should consider other possible causes underlying dizziness.
Anyway, better tolerated antihypertensive drugs considering your age would be ACEI ( lisinopril, ramipril) or ARB ( valsartan, olmesartan, etc.).
Besides, I would not recommended nifedipine at your age.
Hope to have been helpful!
