Brief Answer:
Inguinal hernia
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
Generally, inguinal hernias occur due to slight weakness in the muscles supporting the inguinal canal. Patients are usually born with this. It is possible, however, that increased intra-abdominal pressure caused by a cough, or sneeze, or vomiting, could possibly cause or aggraavate this. It would require a great deal of increased intra-abdominal pressure to do this.

thank you for the response doctor.
i have a weak stomach as in relating to sudden upsets after certain meals and alcohol consumption etc that can cause reactions to regurgitate suddenly.
does not happen often however have always been curious to possible effects etc. i am not aware of having any abnormalities in my abdominal, groin area a such i am aware of.
when you say great deal of pressure to cause this complaint, how much pressure are you referring?
thank you.

Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
Simple coughs and sneezes, even typical vomiting, would not be enough pressure in an otherwise normal abdominal wall. It would take more like a persistent hacking cough, or persistent retching, and even then, there would most likely have to be a weakness somewhere n the abdominal muscle.
