Question: ON 10 12 14 I met with minor accident and had very minor injury abrasion only. No treatment taken.
Before 14 12 14 I’m working very well but on 14/12/14 I was unconscious for 2-3 days and instantly shifted to Local Ramsnehi hospital XXXXXXX Due to accident they marked head injury on discharge ticket and traced that sodium was low so treated for sodium, after three months sodium was again low after taking sodium properly so advised for further treatment with hormone doctor.
On 16/03/15 went at dr XXXXXXX and traced that cortisol is low and thyroid problem so treated for the same.
After it treatment was continue for THYROID & CORTISOL (HYSONE)
On 30 AUGUST 2016, I WENT FOR TEST FOR THYROID AT LOCAL CITY AT XXXXXXX FOR MY SELF SATISFACTION (TSH at XXXXXXX & FT4 sample sent to Abad) and all the reports are normal so I stopped the thyroid tabletS (Thyrox 50 mg) from august 2016. But every time when I going to abad Thyroid (FT4) test conducted and reports are normal.

TOMORROW (06/06/2017) I GIVE SAMPLE FOR CORTISOL (8 Am) AT LOCAL CITY AND SAMPLE sent to abad and reports are awaited. ( I stopped hysone for 3-4 days)

Brief Answer:
No need for immediate consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history and the attached files in detail.

It seems that the deranged thyroid and cortisol levels that were seen before in your blood tests were due to post traumatic stress and may have been temporary.

After stopping the medicines,if these blood levels are within normal levels, then i would suggest you to discontinue all the tablets and get blood cortisol and thyroid levels checked every 3 months.

If the levels remain within normal range, then there is no need to take medicines.

You can consult a good endocrinologist to get a second opinion about this.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.

Thank you.
Kind regards.

Brief Answer:
Stop gradually

Detailed Answer:
Hello there.

Hysone should be stopped gradually, reducing the dose to half every week.

I do not think you need any more tests at present.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
reduce gradually

Detailed Answer:
Yes,in this case,do not stop hysone abruptly.
Gradually lower the dose and then after 2-3 weeks check the levels.
If it is normal, then you can consult your physician and stop the drug.
Thanks
