Suggest Treatment For Swollen Elbows And Hard Nodules On The Hands And Heels
Question: My husband is 53yo. He has a swollen elbow (both ) and his index finger. As well a his toe, and various hard nodukes on his hands and heel. He has gotten some cottage cheese like pus out of it. He was diagnosed in 2013 with pancreatits. Could this be related?

I have seen the attached images. The swellings and multiple joint pains with nodules discharging pus is suggestive of multiple infections and arthritis. This needs proper systemic antibiotics and few investigations to find out the cause. Only Amoxycillin is less likely to help. Do consult an orthopedician for proper prescriptions. This is not related to pancreatitis.

Thank you for your response. As strange as it may sound he doesn't have joint pain, just the numerous areas that have the nodules as well as puss present. My concern is the infection could become sepsis.
