Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In Chest, GAD Symptoms And Palpitations

Question: My story starts a couple of weeks ago, on 09/16/15. I was having a BM (diarrhea) with pain in the lower abdomen. Suddenly I got an intense tingling sensation in my chest, upper back, neck, and head. I began to sweat profusely and then it seemed as though my vision was narrowing. I called for my wife before passing out into the shower. When she found me seconds later, she sat me back upright on the toilet and I proceeded to have what she described as a 10 second seizure. My body stiffened, my right hand curled up, my pupils got large and black, and she said I growled until finally going completely unconscious. 911 was called and I awoke very confused and out of sorts when the medics arrived. I was rushed to the ER where I had blood work up (all normal) and a CT scan of my abdomen (no oral contrast). I was also given and EKG (normal with sinus rhythm noted). The CT was clear with exception of a fatty liver (a little over weight and bad diet), a slight hernia on lower left side, and compacted colon which they couldn't tell a whole lot from with absence of oral contrast. The ER doc decided it was likely a vagus nerve reaction that caused the episode and I was discharged. I was fine for a couple of days and then that Saturday I was sitting still in the car when suddenly I felt something move in my stomach and that same tingling and my vision began to close in again. I quickly jumped up and my heart began to race. I didn't black out, however it caused lightheadedness, shakes, and some weakness. I again visited the ER where more blood work was done and a CT of the head. Both came back normal. I was discharged. From that day I have had strange sensations when drifting off to sleep like feeling of electrical shock, falling, and tingling. Makes it impossible to sleep. I have since had one very bad panic attack that lasted an entire day. I have had strange heart palpitations (I've been having palpitations for over 6 months but my PCP says not to worry) where the heart seems to slow and stop beating for a few seconds before kicking back on, sometimes accompanied by a tingling sensation throughout my body. Sometimes when breathing normal I'll have a moment where it seems as if I can't quite breathe (instantaneous feeling and I take a deep breath and it goes away). I have moments of lightheadedness as well. I have visited the ER one more time with the new symptoms after not being able to sleep for 48 hours. At this visit I had more blood drawn to check for heart enzymes (negative) and my Thyroid (4.7 so slightly under active?). Diagnosed with anxiety and given Ativan for sleep. I followed up with my PCP, a Neurologist, and a Therapist. Neurologist has scheduled an EEG and MRI, Therapist diagnosed me with GAD. I guess what I'd like to ask is if it's possible I have a problem in my gut causing the symptoms I'm experiencing. It does seem as though some of these symptoms follow a sudden movement in my GI tract and I get a ton of twitching throughout my abdominal region. I have recently been having BMs every few days (usually I am pretty regular at every day). The stools have been harder than normal and a very pale brown color, almost yellowish. I have experienced some discharge of mucous with bowl movements in the past months as well, though not in recent days. I had another incident back in January while out of town on business that landed me in the ER with terrible vomiting and dark, hot, watery diarrhea... it nearly immobilized me. I could hardly walk, talk or function in any way until I had discharged the diarrhea. It was accompanied with profuse sweating, increased heavy heart beat, and dizziness/confusion and weakness. Once I had discharged the waste I went back to normal after IV fluids. Suggestions?

Brief Answer:
?IBM with GAD with Palpitations/ Under Investigation

Detailed Answer:
My Primary Opinion-after study-
-Yours is a case of -IBM with GAD with Palpitations, which needs intense work up with patience at your and My end.

Hi,Thanks for your complex query to HCM.
I studied your complex query with all its details.
I really pity your suffering over last 1 month lately and since XXXXXXX 2015.
Its really would be a challenging job for any doctor to evaluate your complicated and complex case in just 1 hrs time.

I would suggest you to be ready for many interactive sessions, where in I would be getting the updates and your information and queries, and would be giving My updated opinions till you get satisfied.
May be your doctors (PCP and neurologists ) notes / discharge notes could be needed, which I would demand as required.
May be this would take few days or few weeks, I cant guess, as your cases seems to be very complex.

If you are ready for this, I would suggest you-
-To Update me on your Current clinical Vitals and Your Bio-chem vitals.
My Primary Opinion is -Yours is a case of -IBM with GAD with Palpitations.
-Your doctors there have done a wonderful job till now.
But your query demands more than that, which was not done by them.

What I would suggest is to ask specific areas, which are important to YOU, on which you want suggestions from Me? As it would be long marathon write-up discussions and would complicate the efforts for ME and confuse you more with intricate medical terms involved in it.

So please update on the asked information as above.
I would love to attend to your any of the queries in time to come.

Awaiting for above information and any further query in this regard, for review and study in the next session.

Good Day!!
