Question: How do I go off Duloxetine prescription 20 mg once aday for a year, having bad dreams most of the night, can't sleep? I am not in pain anymore. Have not been able to get in to see doctor about stopping med.

At this low dosage, it would be safe to simply stop taking Cymbalta. If you begin to experience withdrawal (brain zaps, flu-like symptoms), then you should immediately restart it at 20mg and speak to your doctor about prescribing a lower dose to taper off more slowly. Be advised that stopping your Cymbalta is likely to result in a return of your pain, so I would not recommend stopping this without talking to your doctor first.
