What Causes Hearing Of Heart Pulsations?
Question: I can hear and feel my heart beating. Meaning I can heart it without a stethoscope or anything. And I can feel it without putting my hand on my chest. The "beats" sound like a bit like gulping...kind of like a "chugging water" sound. "ga-glunk. ga-glunk. ga-glunk. ga-glunk". The rate is normal. About 80. But this feeling/sensation is something I've never felt in my life. I'm 37. So clearly it's out of the ordinary. Also, I found it difficult to take deep breaths today. Last night I played a music gig in a smokey bar, so I was thinking maybe the second-hand smoke might have had an effect, but I don't know. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
At first coffee, smoking, soda and any energetic drinks should be excluded.
Meanwhile you can take Kalms, if you don't drive a car, take twice a day, morning and evening. In case you drive a car, take only in the evening.
If these doesn't help in a month, have an echocardiography done. If it is normal, then see a psychiatrist to evaluate the anxiety.
Wishing you good health
