What Causes Persistent Swelling And Bruising On The Elbows?

Question: Two weeks ago, I broke a blood vesil in my elbow. I am 65 years old. After much swelling and bruising, it seems to be heled except for a pool of blood at the tip of my elbow. It seems to be like a bubble of 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter. what should I do ?

Please post the picture for better clarification.
As per your description, it could be a Haematoma.
It will be resolved gradually in course of time.It may take another 2 to 3 weeks.
If it is not resolving, I prefer to get an Ultrasound of the area.If clot is confirmed and is not resolving ,I prefer to remove the clot under anaesthesia.
