What Causes Red Marks On Penis Shaft?
Question: Hi, about a week ago I not hived these red marks on my penis shaft, now the tip of my penis is red al well.
I just got tested for stds a month ago which came back negative

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts and photographs that you have posted it appears that you have noticed red marks on shaft and tip of the glans penis since a week,

1) Did you have unprotected sex before you developed these red marks ?
2) Do you have any urinary symptoms like frequency,burning urgency etc?
The red marks are most likely to be due to infection or allergic reaction to vaginal secretions of your female partner .
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.
Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.
Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

I have amoxicillin at home will that work or do I need to see a general phycisian to get a prescription?

In view of the issue being propped up after unprotected sex it is better to get few more test done to be assured about acquiring STD.std.
1) In case you had unprotected sex with a woman other than your wife or with sex worker better you get basic screening tests for STD .
2)If you had sex with your wife she also needs to get checked by her Gynecologist and take treatment for any infection (Vaginitis)
You can take Brufen in place of Diclofenac .
