Question: I've had diarrhea for 6 days. Yellow loose stools with large yellow pods sometimes. White powder inside the pod. Stomach and intestinal pain.

Looks like gastroenteritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

In view of your symptoms it looks you are having gastroenteritis. Usually cause is either viral or bacterial. Usually treatment is directed towards maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance.But since this has continued for 6 days a stool culture and course of antibiotics may be considered.

Yellow pods and white powder may be just undigested or partly digested food.

Do keep watch on fever or weakness.

Fever would indicate presence of infection.Weakness would point towards dehydration.Take adequate fluids and balanced diet.
