Hi,
Welcome to Ask a Doctor.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.
I have read your notes. It appears that you must have hit somewhere without your knowledge. At this age the skin is very delicate. This discolouration should disappear in few days. If not you must see a surgeon for examination.
I hope you are regular with your mammography.

Thanks for reply. Absolutely was not hit or injured in any way. Is IBC something I should be concerned with? To date it hasn’t gotten bigger but has gotten definitely darker.

Hi,
Welcome back.
IBC usually has other signs like redness, unusual warmth of the breast, oedema, increase in breast size etc.
However you should have check up by surgeon if this discolouration does not subside in few days.
If it is bothering you too much, see a surgeon now itself.
Regards.
