Are Dark Spotting And Tender Breasts Suggestive Of Implantation Bleeding?
Hi, where to begin. My fertile "week" was July 10-16 (have a period/ov app) I had sex the 13,15,16. My breast have been very tender since the 16th. I have a 33 day cycle. As of yesterday the 24th ( 5 days before period) I started spotting brown then turned pink now I only bleed when I use the restroom. A little blood in toilet and when I wipe which decreases the more I wipe. It's darker and watery. Is this implantation or just a rather weird period?
Hi, I understand it can be really confusing. Well, implantation bleeding usually is seen around the date of the expected period and it is pink to brown in color, more like spotting and may last for 2-3 days. But even a whacky period may give brown spotting, if there is a history of irregular periods in the past or it may be a result of stress or some hormonal fluctuation.
I would suggest taking a pregnancy test, about 7 days after the expected date of the period to be absolutely sure. Moreover, having sexual intercourse around ovulation may increase the chances of pregnancy. If pregnancy test is negative, when taken at the appropriate time, I may consider spotting as an irregularity in period. Hope it helps.
