Are Swollen Lips Related To Folliculitis On The Scalp?

Hi, for a few weeks now I keep getting swollen lips, usually late at night around 10:30pm and later. The swelling lasts through the night and the next day. I'm quite certain this is not an allergic reaction, but the weird thing is it happens only on weekends (mainly saturdays) but I have not been doing or eating anything new or different. I have been diagnosed with folliculitis on the scalp and have had a biopsy to identify the cause but the results are yet unavailable, could there be a link? I'm male, 24 years old, very fit athlete.
