Are There Any Etiologies Of Thryroid/androgen Implicated In Skin Problem?

Male. 63 y/o. 6'. 215 #. Good overall health but Hx of spinal problems (degenerative disk disease/fractures, thoracic outlet syndrome, syrinx T7-11) resulting in 7 spinal surgeries (mostly cervical) and 20+ titanium plates, rods cage and screws. Only meds are for pain, inflammation and muscle spasms for the spinal problems. I do have hypothyroid condition requiring 176 mg/day Unithroid supplement and 3.25 topical Androgel for low testosterone. I have had a Hx of granuloma annulare from 20 years ago that has reoccurred over the last few months that is troublesome on the dorsal surface of fingers and hands. Are there any etiologies of thryroid/androgen implicated in this skin disorder? Are there any new Rx other than 3% Kenalog injections with which they treated me 20 years ago? Other than being unsightly and itchy, they pose no problems -- particularly in the light of my other, more severe medical problems. Thank you.
