Can Topomax Be Taken For Migraine If Suffering From Lupus?

I am a 38 year old female with Systemic Lupus (and many related complications), Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and very recently suffered a stroke. While hospitalized for the stroke, tests also indicated lesions that now cause specialists to again suspect MS as well. (As happens to patients with diseases of these types so often, this continues to come up every so often in my life.) I've had extensive CNS involvement for many years. To further complicate things, I also suffer migraines, and within the last two weeks was prescribed Topomax. My concern is that I understand this to be a sulfa based drug (?) and have always been instructed that sulfa based drugs are off limits for Lupus patients. It does seem to be helping with my migraine situation (which has been severe since childhood.) and to have relief even from just this one issue comes as such a blessing. I am hesitant to give this drug up if my fears about its chemical make up are unfounded.
