Can A Pineal Cyst Just Disappear Off The MRI?

I am a 37 year old female, 5'4'', 120lbs. I was diagnosed as having a a pineal cyst in 2007 and was followed up in 2009. The 2009 report reads "There is a 1.2 x 1.5 x 0.80 cm low T1, increased T2 weighted pineal gland mass most suggestive of a pineal cyst." Due to increased symptoms, I received another MRI on Monday that came back "normal" according to the report I picked up from the hospital. I have yet to meet with my neuro doc, but could this be right? Could it really disappear? I have been having so many memory problems, had the symptoms of a mini-stroke, etc, that I just KNEW something was wrong and now NOTHING shows up on the MRI?
