Can Constipation, Diarrhea With Fecal Seepage And Lower Back Pain Indicate Sciatica?

I have low back pain with sciatica which an EMG revealed it was coming from S1. I had chronic constipation, but recently I am having diarrhea and I had some seepage of fecal material recently. My Dr. ordered PT, and the therapist didn t think it was sciatica because my foot and ankle strength was so good. I seem to have symptoms of cauda equina but no one seems concerned. Where do I go from here since I don t want surgery, but I don t want irreversible damage either. No MRI since last June, but my Dr. wasn t concerned with the results.
