Can Herniation Of Cerebellar Tonsils Cause Constant Low-grade Fever?

I have a 4.2mm herniation of the cerebellar tonsills. I have not been told it s chiari but it sounds like it to me. Can this be the cause of a constant low-grade (99-100) fever? I am 39 y.o. female, had C6/7 fused in 2002. I haven t been pain free since then. but, I also know that I have degenerative changes and bone spurs at levels C3-C7. I have just found out about the herniation and have been attributing many symptoms to the neck issues, but now I don t know what to do. I have pain in the neck, head, and shoulders that radiates down both arms, decreased sensation in fingers 4/5 on both hands, dizziness, nausea, fever, feeling of my brain being pinched if I turn my head in a particular way. I have recently seen an Ortho spine specialist and had a CESI with some relief for only about 1 week of only some of the symptoms? This has been going on since May and I m really tired of hurting and taking drugs, what should I do next?
