Can Hypothyroidism And Low Platelet Count Cause Irregular Menses?

Hello, I m 27 and had an early misscarrige in January at 6 weeks, its July now and i have only gotten 3 periods since then, so my gp sent me for a scan which didnt show anything, so he did some bloods they came back that i gave an underactive tyhroid and a low platelet count, do you think there is any connection here? Thanks
