Can Laparoscopy Cause Sore Lymph Nodes In Underarms?

Had 1st mammogram on 7/09. Had laparoscopy in 01/10 to remove severe endometriosis. Since then, I ve had these large, sore lymph nodes underarm. My physician ran 9 tubes of blood tests (not sure what for) and said they came back perfect. I m going for a ct chest and neck scan tomorrow to look at soft tissue. Does this sound bad?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Lymph nodes in the armpits can occur due to infection, inflammation, or metastasis from malignancy.
Mammography is done to look for any lump or suspicious lesion in the breast.
CT scan is done to look for any suspicious lesion in the lungs.
Aspiration of the lymph nodes can be done to know the nature and character of cells in lymph nodes.
Further management will be determined by result of aspiration cytology of the lymph nodes.

Thanks and take care
