Could Chest Pain Be Due To Fracture In The Sternum?
Fell on July 29th 2014. . Went to the urgent care doctor said I had deviated the septum . Went to ENT and he got that fixed by perfoming a closed nasal fracture reductions . The pain in the nose was more than the chest area. Now I am focusing on the chest part of the pain could I have a fracture in the sternum?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should get done chest x ray. Since you are having blunt trauma, possibility of fracture can not denied. And you fell in july so at present even if fracture was there, it must be unite till now. So no need to worry about sternal fracture. Get done chest x ray with AnteroPosterior and Lateral view. CT scan is also good modality to detect fracture.
