Could Pain On Forearm And Wrist After Wacking Be Fracture?

I wacked my funny bone about two months ago, really hard. I am clumsy and do this often, and this time it felt wrong. To this day, I have pain running down the outside of my forearm to my wrist, and it is especially painful when I am lifting (even a jug of water or pouring wine - I am in the service industry), and the pain is not getting any better. It really feels like something has happened to the bone, is fracture possible? It doesn't feel like nerve damage, unless that kind of damage mimicks "bone pain". Any suggestions before I get xrays?
