Could Pregnancy Symptoms With Fever And Cold While Being On Depo Indicate Infection?

I am 11 dpo, and although I am testing negative at home, I am experiencing many symptoms of early pregnancy.
I have a slight fever today of 99.7, and some slight cold-like symptoms. Could this be due to a progesterone surge, or is this a sign I am fighting an infection?
