Dear Doctor Rynne: I'm a 77 yr old lady. On February 02, 2016, while driving home after dark and car approached me with very pretty green head-lights. On February 09, 2016, while driving home I saw the same person with the green head-lights (I thought). Then the next vehicle had green lights, and the next, etc. I live in the rural area. I started noticing (not all, but about half) green yard lights. When I got home my own flood light was green. On February 12, 2016, I went to see my regular doctor. She said you must have eye strain. The next day I went to my eye doctor, who said I had cataract's on both eyes. I had the cataract removed from my left eye on February 25, 2016; and the other one removed on March 03, 2016 (I have mono vision & have had for 30 years). I see perfectly. The green head-lights have faded to a very light green, and I still see some yards lights in green. The other day I took a large package of pork-chops out of the freezer. When thawed I rinsed them off and green slime was running off of them. I took them out to the garage. Thawed out a package of beef sirloin steaks. Same thing again. The blood looks like green slime to me. On March 24, 2016 I went back to the eye doctor for my final cataract checkup. My eyes were dilated and I saw vertical green lines on the bright light tests. My blood pressure runs 140/90; pulse 52, oxygen good. I have taking the same meds for 20 years, which are atorvastatin 20mg; omeprazole 20mg; levothyroxine 150mcg; hyoscyamine (works on my lower intestines)125mg. I like the color green, but I'm still wondering why? Thanks, Jeane in Montana
