Does Buspirone Cause Drowsiness?

hi my wife started ic buspirone 15mg tabs this morning she took half of apill this morning went to work I had to go and pick her up from work she was so disfuctional wasn t able to stand up I did not like the way she was acting it was like she drank a half of fifth of whiskey I do not want her taking the medication again is it normal for that type of medication

In fact, the dose she started with looks too high, generally we start with a lesser doses and increase it gradually, this is how the side effects may be little.
