Does Fertomid 50 Affect Ovulation?

hi, i am ucrrently have a concern and my gyni is away. I have been presirbed fertomid 50 and to be taken on my 4/5th day of m period. I had a very ligh one and now i am concerned as it is heavy and i am already on day 2 of the clmoid - will this effect the outcome of the ovulation? I use to have 29 day cycles ut after 3 miscarriages i am any thing from 30 - 36 days if this helps.
