Does Finger Dislocation With Pain, Twisting And Bending Need Medical Attention?

Hi, earlier this evening I dislocated my finger playing football. I felt severe pain and when I looked my middle finger on my right hand was severely bent and twisted to the left, however it was only like this for a couple of seconds as when I outstreched my fingers it "popped" back into place, I actually felt the pop in my knuckle. However it is still slightly bent to the left, in comparison to my finger on the other hand, it still hurts slightly, although I have taken paracetamel and anti inflamitries which is probably numbing the pain, it is also very weak. My dad thinks it will be fine and I dont need to go to the hospital, but Im not entirely sure that has popped back into its correct position by the fact that it is still slightly bent, should I see a doctor?
