Does Heavy Bleeding More Than Usual Require Doctor S Attention?
Hi..I m 22 years old and I m married. I have pcos and taking metformin for 6 months as per doctor advice. For 5 months my period was regular and sixth month it was 3 weeks late. The pregnancy test is also negative for two times. So doctor prescribed deviry 10 mg for 5 days. The next day I got my period but it was heavy bleeding than before. I don t know what is the problem. Please tell me what the problem is? Is it normal or need to consult doctor?
Ovulation inducing agents do pause a concern of heavy or scanty flow depending upon the individual body response to the therapy. As the first day of menses is showing up heavy flow, you can wait for next couple of days and observe the amount of flow before approaching your OBGYN.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
