Does Testicular Swelling And Pain Due To Injury Require Immediate Medical Attention?

I was using my bicycle and some one cross by and put the brake and with the speed I was I all most fly at the front bars so I got hurt on my right testicles I start felling paint heat etc sensitive at any touch got red what shoul I do it s all ready got bigger that s is hard to walk what shoul I do???

Hello,

Since there is swelling, discomfort & difficulty in walking you are suggested to visit ER & get clinically assessed.

In the meantime you can take Naproxen(Aleve), one sos after food for relieve from pain. Motrin or advil are also effective.

Since there is inflammation you will need antibiotics. You may need a jockstrap for support & comfort. Avoid exercise & stay at rest.

Get examined urgently as some swelling may take 4-5 weeks to subside depending upon the type of injury.

You may have to get USG & MRI done if required. You will be treated with medicines but surgery may be needed depending on the severity of the injury.
