Has The Pill Rosuvastatin Change In Appearance?

Did the pill for Rosuvastatin change in appearance. In the past it has been a yellow pill with RUS on it. I just refilled my prescription and the pill is smaller in size, peach in color, and has M on one side and U1 on the other. Just want to make sure I didn t get the wrong med.

It is only the brand of Rosuvastatin that is changed.

The newly refilled peach colored pill having a print mark of "M" on one side and U1 on the other side is the same brand of Rosuvastatin which you had earlier in the form of having yellow color with an imprint of "RUS" on it.

Since the new pill also contains the same medication Rosuvastatin which is equally effective in lowering the high blood cholesterol hence can be taken safely after consulting your treating doctor.
