Have Water Dripping From Nose While Bending. Cause And Cure?
Why does water drips out of my nose after bending over to pick something on ground I am a 40 year old male and the last few months I have noticed that after bending over or tipping my head down, a water like substance drips from my nose. It is clear. What could be causing this? Is it something I should be concerned about?my email is YYYY@YYYY
You should get the water drip tested. Nasal water drip may be clear but contains mucoid secretions, it will harden a handkerchief/tissue after some time. If it is so, it is due to rhinitis, drug reaction, cold or viral infection. Intake of antibiotics, anti-allergy medications will help get relief. You need not worry.
But if the fluid does not contain mucus, it should be collected in a sterile container and tested to ensure that it is not CSF, cerebrospinal fluid dripping.
If test is positive for CSF, it is better to get CT of paranasal sinus done to detect the pathology and start treatment without delay.
Get clinically assessed, diagnosed and treated. Take care.
