Hello Dr. Rynne
In January of this year I developed, what I thought was a UTI. Went to urgent care, given antibiotics, didn't work, went back, nothing worked. Finally got to see Urologist in March--he wasn't a very good doctor and changed to a new Urologist July 1. He read a CT scan I had on April 17th--my left kidney was swollen (other dr apparently didn't read the scan!). He did the bladder scope, put tubes from kidneys to bladder (both of them), saw no tumors or growths and did a test of the bladder cells for cancer. No cancer. Had a catheter for 108 days (has got to be a record). Catheter removed last Thursday, able to urinate through urethra but now I cannot stop urinating--go at least every hour, day and night. Urine produced for Dr. today was extremely cloudy but there was no bacteria. Also had lots and lots of blood in urine Tuesday morning. My bladder is very spastic and not emptying fully, NO burning when urinating, spasms start when I begin to urinate. Severe spasms, very, very painful, unable to hold urine for very long. Doctors can't figure this out. Urine produced for Dr. today was extremely cloudy, also had lots and lots of blood in urine Tuesday morning. The new doctor is puzzled as am I. While he's researching so am I. Drink lots and lots of water--about 98% of what I drink is water. One cup of coffee per day. Controlling diabetes with insulin and diet. No other problems. If you have any ideas I'd like to hear them and share with Dr. Appreciate your time and interest. Thank you & best wishes, Barbara Smith
