Hello sir! My son is 9 months old. We started with nebulising him with livolin 0.31 mg when he was 5 months old ...he got okay when he turned 6 months. So we did not nebulise for a month
Then again wheezing started with cough. But coughing was not rigorous it was light. Coughing stopped but wheezing did not. So my doc started budecort .5mg. Since past one month i hav been nebulising him with both budecort n livolin mixed togethrr twice a day. N giving sachet of montair granules in night.
inspite of all this i do hear him wheezing sometimes...then it becomes alright. Again i get to hear a bit in 4-5 days. Why does this happen.? R these asthama attacks.? My doc is saying to continue with budecort n saline nebulisation til my child turns 2years. But i very scared to continue as budecort is a steroid. My child growth is avg . He is in a growing age will budecort hamper his mental growth?
my doc says tht we are preventing him from getting asthamatic...is it so?
will he be on medication throughout his life?
Pls advise...i m very very upset.
