Should I Be Concerned About Tasting A Distinct Ammonia Smell After Coughing, Given My Cold Symptoms And Recent Exposure To RSV?

Hello, thanks so much for your help. My daughter who works in a daycare center at her college came home for the holidays. RSV has been running rampant through her place of work. When she first came home about two weeks ago she felt very sick, but has since recovered. I have had a cold for about a week now. It started with a runny nose, slight cough, post-nasal drip, and a little bit of muscle ache. The muscle aches have gone away, as has the runny nose, but I have a very strong cough now, especially at night or if I try to lie down/sit to far reclined. I can feel that there is congestion in my chest. This has never happened to me before, but just now I coughed and suddenly I tasted/smelled a distinctly ammonia taste/smell. Should this trouble me?
