What Should I Do About Reddish Discharge At 19 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Hi, I am 19weeks pregnant and since my 7th week of pregnancy, I am having brown or reddish vaginal discharge while wiping my vagina with tissue after going to the washroom. Recently I am having fresh blood discharge. My Doctor suggested me to take Microgest 200 twice a day and take HPC injection twice a week from my 10tg week. My ultrasound test looks normal. My baby s heartbeat and every other vital signs are okay. I had my last ultrasound done a week earlier. In my urine test, UTI was found and doctor gave me an antibiotic. But after taking all these, still I am having reddish discharges. What can I do?
As per your history you appear to have slight blood discharge from vagina and your rest of the blood test and you ultrasound are normal. In pregnancy there is increased blood flowing to the cervix and vagina ..so some people do have spotting during pregnancy. However it is better to undergo per speculum examination that means examination from vagina to see for any lesion like polyp or ulcer on cervix and vagina. you need not worry as your baby is growing well. Continue the tablets as advised.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
