Hi, I Am Asking This Query On Behalf Of My

Hi, I am asking this query on behalf of my dad. Kindly help me find the cause.

Age: 57

It starts with a pain on the right side (From bottom of rib cage to center of the stomach and right lower abdomen)
Followed by cough and vomiting. Sometimes the vomit includes bile fluid. Once the content of the stomach came out through vomit, the pain gradually decreases to null. This is happening for the past 2 months with an iterval of 1 or 2 days or some times even 10 days without pain and vomiting.

1 month ago he was hospitalized "10 days in April 2022" for the same and was discharged after the vomit stops. The diagnosis was provided for "GASTROPARESIS".

But soon after 10 days the vomiting starts again along with the right side pain.
Again he was hospitalized for "4 days in May 2022" at another hospital and the gastroenterologist ordered a CT scan. (The vomiting stops in 1 day and did not recur)
CT Summary,
• Cholelithiasis with mild wall thickening and enhancement.
• Bilateral non-obstructive renal calculi.
• Moderate prostatomegaly.
• A cavity in the left lower lobe with a soft tissue component within showing air crescent sign -likely aspergilloma
• Multiple small round nodules noted in the left medial and lateral aspect of left upper lobe -indeterminate

The gastroenterologist on reviewing the CT scan reports, informed us that there is no problem internally and added that the vomiting may have caused due to Stress(Depression and Anxiety) and prescribed medicines for the same.
Further he informed us that there is a gallstone and it does not require any immediate treatment until it shows symptoms.

Now (June 2022), after 10 days of discharge, the right side pain and vomiting starts again.

"It will be of great help if anyone could tell the cause."

Past History:
1) TYPE 1 DIABETES MELLITUS (Insulin Dependent) (For past 32 Years)
2) S/P ANTRECTOMY (June 1995)
Reason: Recurrent vomiting Preceded by severe burning sensation retrosternally and followed by vomiting bilious Fluid.
3) GASTROJEJUNOSTOMY (Nov 1995)
Reason: Same reason as the above.

I would like to have your opinions on the cause too. It will be help us deciding the right treatment.

Thanks.
