How Can UTI Be Treated?

Good evening, thank you for having me. I noticed the first two days to my mentruation, it very dark and spotting. After awhile it started to flow normal red. Prior to that time , I experienced vaginal discomfort and itch. I rubbed keconazole cream for a day or two and forgot about it. My partner recently ran a test and he was told he had Urinary Tract Infection after he met me. Please how do I treat UTI?
