How Can A Painful Callus At The Bottom Of The Feet Be Treated?
I had bunion surgery several years ago. within a couple months I noticed I was developing a callous on the bottom of my foot, just behind the toes. it is more than 2 inches in diameter and is perfectly round. It has been painful since It showed up, but lately I don t even want to walk anymore it hurts so much,
It may be a corn because it is painful. Callous is not painful. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
Apply Salicylic acid solution on the lesion twice a day. Do not give pressure on the affected foot while walking. Wear soft soled shoes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Callus can be treated either medically with salicylic acid solution or surgically with excision. You could apply a salicylic acid solution over the callus to soften it. But, I recommend you to get examined by your dermatologist for providing you the ideal line of management.
