My name is Balaji. I am 23 years old. I was effected by polio to my left leg at the age of 1 year. My left leg have same length but is thinner and practically dont have hard muscle. It is thinner from my waist. I walked by placing my left hand on my left leg for support until 14 years. I had a surgery to my knee at that time. After that i am walking without placing my hand on the leg. The doctor told i need to have another surgery to my ankle in later stage for betterment. But due to studies i could not spare time for the ankle surgery. Now i am doing masters in USA. I don't know is there any options for betterment of my leg. I am in confusion. It is getting more and more difficult if am waiting longer. Please give me your valuable opinion to get an idea of my position and available options. I know that i am troubling you.
