How Can Finger Bruising Due To An Injury Be Treated?

I cut my finger with a very sharp knife yesterday. It seems deep but near my knuckle, it didn't bleed too much. But now that finger has a greenish tint. It COULD be that I bruised my finger, although the knife didn't hit it that hard, was in midair. But maybe it's a bruise since I'm also feeling like it's not bending full range of motion. I'll admit that the greenish color has me a little worried, though, since the knife was not very clean and it didn't bleed too much. (I cleaned it with soap and water, but as deep as it was I didn't pull skin back to get deep in wound.)
