How Can Fungal Vaginal Infection Be Treated?

Approximately 20 years ago a gynocologist treated my vagina with gen gen violet. I m now 57 and have had a complete hystrectomy in 2010. I have had many fungal infections in the years since my surgery. I ve been treating with Flucanozole and creams. I have an odor that will not go away. What should I do to address this issue? I m extremely embarrassed to even ask this question.

Hi!

Private matters are always hard to discuss. But have you ever tried speaking to your doctor? You'd be surprised how easy and IMPORTANT it is to discuss the same for a healthy life.

Your description suggests bacterial infection in the vagina and it will.not go easily with antifungal creams rather worsen it. I'd.advice you to seek consult with your Gynaecologist immediately.
