How Can Melanoma In The Head Be Treated?

My husband was scheduled for radiation due to melanoma in head. They just changed their plans & now want to do an endoscopy of the upper chest. He had tumor behind left ear that was removed & was malignant & radiation is called off. The surgery was 1 month ago. e mail-- YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

The doctors might have found some suspicious lesion in the chest and that’s why endoscopy is planned.

Nothing much to worry and the treatment is on the right track.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
