How Can Pain In The Knees Be Treated?

I am male,aged about 49 years.When i start climb steps,i heard a sound in my both knee and when i put step to go upstairs,there is a little bit resistance and i go carefully as i cannot give full force.Also i am getting pain from knee to feet at night.Pl adv

hi.welcome to healthcare magic.i understand your problem.you have osteoarthritis.my opinion is that,
1.it is a degenerative disease of the bone due to ageing.there is no permanent cure for this problem.we can control the pain only.
2.give rest to your knees.dont walk more.
3.take analgesics like tablet diclofenac twice daily.
4.consult your orthopedic surgeon after taking x ray knee.
5.wax therapy will help you to get some relief.
