How Can Painful Dislocation Of The Clavicle Be Treated?
my clavicle seems to come out of place at times when i bend down and pick something up or put my weight on my left hand to catch my balance quite painful but i put ice on it for awhile and it feels a bit better but usual still a little sore the next day it seems to be happening more often i may have torn a muscle a couple of years ago while on an antibiotic that had that as a side effect
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Some advices that I can give to you are : -Ice packs can be placed on the sore joint for up to 15 minutes at a time during the first few days after the injury. -You may get a figure-eight strap wraps around both shoulders to support the SC joint. The strap protects the joint from another injury and lets the injured ligaments heal and become strong again. -Anyway the visit of an orthopaed is necessary to confirm the diagnose. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
