How Can Rapid Heart Rate And Elevated BP Be Treated?

I am experiencing rapid heart rate and elevated BP have been for about 7 hours. I have experienced SVTs in the past and am on verapamil 360 to correct rapid rate. Today I saw a physician for ongoing knee and joint pain he gave me a localized injection of steroids and lidocaine about 6 hours later I started these systems is it possible to be the cause? BP 160/98 HR 110 i have taken 2 propranolol 4 hours ago. What should I do

some lignicaine anaesthetic injection has adrenaline in addition and this must have caused raised blood pressure and heart rate ...but since you have taken two tablets of propranolol ...these are enough to control high bp and heart rate ..now just relax ...give some time to rest ...
