How Can Redness And Swelling Around A Tattoo Be Treated?
So I got a tattoo and I had to cover it with a bandaid to protect it. The adhesive on the bandaid was too strong and it damaged my skin. First off it was a lil red and kinda swollen and I thought it'll go away but now the damaged skin around my tattoo is a lil darker and very rough to touch, almost like it's burnt
It could be an Irritant contact dermatitis. Treatment is application of mild steroid cream. But, before initiating steroid cream, it is wiser to treat any infection in the area, if present.
