Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is there anything I can do about the thick green goo from my sinuses? I ve had this for a couple of months. Nothing over-the-counter ever does any good. Antibiotics have never done any good either. I ve been drinking a lot of water and trying to eat a good diet and get lots of sleep, but it keeps hanging on. What else can I do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus infection which means you are suffering from condition known as sinusitis and could be due to lowered immunity of body.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take steam inhalation along with nasal decongestant sprays. Do warm saline gargles. You should take combination of antihistamines and antibiotic as infection is present. Co amoxiclav is best treatment option. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for paranasal sinus X ray and get puncture and drainage of sinus if required. You can go for surgical reconstruction of opening after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
